ABOUT US
Gaiya's Grove was founded in 1998 when Noel began making herbal products for herself and her home. A few
neighbors and friends expressed interest, and word quickly spread about her handcrafted products. Since then,
it has become a part-time business and is very much a labor of love. In 2000, we changed our name from
"Enchanted Herbals from Gaiya's Grove" to simply "Gaiya's Grove". We are currently expanding, and have
created a sister company entitled "L'Enigme Esoteriqe" or simply,
"
The Esoteric Enigma". The Enigma was created for our darker, more adult products, and includes massage
oils, fine perfumes, and various other sensuous pleasures.

An earthy, altruistic creature, Noel has been involved in various humanitarian efforts since the tender age of 15.
Check out our
SPECIAL PROJECTS page for more information on past and current projects. In her spare
time, she likes to garden, read, write songs, knit, play guitar and sing. She has been making Wine and Mead for
several years, and plans to begin entering contests within the next few years.

Gaiya's Grove is privately held, and our owner is actively involved in the daily operation, assisting with
everything from product design and testing to web site design. Although we have grown, our customers are still
number one, and we consistently maintain a strict code of business ethics.

We invite you to browse our site and

Noel's statement concerning her work:

As a child, I spent most of my time outdoors, fingers and toes planted firmly in the Earth. Constantly amazed at
the inherent beauty and magic of plants, rocks, and other natural occurences, I would soon incorporate such
beauty into my artwork.

In designing these items, I have drawn extensively from my family's heritage. Paris is one of the world's fashion
centers, so it made sense for me to create wearable art and develop my own fashions. As a nod to my Native
American ancestry, several of my materials and colors come from the Earth. Most of the materials I use echo
the colors of nature...leafy green forests, brilliant coral reefs, or sunrise-tinged ripples on the surface of a pond.
In a tribute to my comrades, I am currently working on a line of kilt pins which will reflect the various Clans of
Scotland.

The work I produce is wonderfully functional and versatile...scarves can be used as elegant wraps, worn as
belts, or even used as home decor pieces, and my handcrafted stone pendants, usually worn with necklaces,
have been used as holiday decorations or as unique adornments for gift-wrapping.
